Meet Our Instructor
Kenny Jacobs
PGA Professional
Kenny Jacobs has 35+ years of experience teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Kenny graduated from the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando FL in 1989. Since then Kenny has held multiple positions within the golf industry including Director of Instruction at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club, Director of Instruction at Eagle Watch Golf Club, Director of Instruction at All Seasons GLC, Head Golf Professional at Lincoln Elks Country Club, and Director of Instruction at The Den. Kenny also taught 6-time winner on the PGA Tour, Chris Kirk!
Kenny’s teaching style is based on 4 key ideas…impact, swing plane, Clubface control, and balance; and 5 key T-Words…tension, tempo, timing, tilt, and turn.

The X-Golf Experience - using simulators to play an entire 18 holes while it is 60 mph winds outside, is by far the best option in town. Booked this out on a Monday (only time i would recommend due to the cheaper price) and took 2 1/2 hours to play…

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
