Lucas was born in Long Island, NY. Not picking up the sport until 2015, Lucas has been playing golf daily since and can't get enough! He gained a wealth of knowledge
about the golf swing while working in the golf industry. He has
been instructing for 4 years now getting certified with the United States Golf Teachers Federation in 2021. Lucas is a true student of the game. X-Golf's
technology has taken his game, and love for teaching, to
the next level. Lucas' background in golf has helped him
create a unique, engaging, and most importantly fun
lesson program for all ages and levels of golfer.

While visiting Portland we popped into this location and had a great time. Lucas was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely personable. We enjoyed some local beer (Lucas was also knowledgeable on this) and our son thoroughly enjoyed a reprieve from the heat with some golf!
Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
