Rick Veitch
PGA Class A teaching professional
Rick Veitch is a PGA Class A teaching professional with over thirty years’ experience in the golf industry. A TPI-certified golf instructor, Rick has provided instruction at several prestigious local clubs including Worcester Country Club and Myopia Hunt Club. Rick currently teaches at X-Golf in Hanover, MA as well as Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA. His mission is to help every golfer enjoy the game more fully and to tailor instruction that energizes students and allows them to achieve their own specific goals for improvement.

I have been here twice and both times the golf experience was great. Played 1.5 hours then 2 hours in the middle of the day, first on Saturday then on a Sunday. My only complaint is it's probably too expensive. I must not be the only one who thinks this…

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.

Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.

The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.

No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.

Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.

Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.

Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.

Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
