Winter Leagues begin the first week of January 2026 and run for 10 weeks ending the week of March 15th:
> 8 weeks of regular season play and 2 weeks of non-elimination playoffs
> No matches the week of Feb. 15th (MA school vacation week)
> 2 hours per week of reserved play per team
> Teams will play against other 2-player teams in the same bay
> Teams are not registered until all players have paid
> Handicaps for leagues are automatically calculated and adjusted on previous rounds
> Swag and fun prizes throughout the season
> Limited number of teams per league

Sunday COED Scramble 6-8PM = $650 per team
Monday Madness 6-8PM = $750 per team
Tuesday Late Night Scramble 8-10PM = $750 per team

FLEXIBLE FIRST WEEK PLAY: For players/teams that cannot make the first date of the league, they may play their first week’s round at a later date provided it’s completed before the start of the second round. A former New England PGA Teacher of the Year and Junior Golf Leader Award recipient, Rick has taught and coached numerous New England Club Champions, State Junior/Women's Amateur Champions and nationally ranked golfers during his award winning 38 year teaching career, Rick's success with his students draws from a personalized, individual approach which is very sensitive to his students’ needs.

PGA Certified Teaching Professional
Steve is a PGA Professional with 14 years of experience dedicated to helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game at both private and public facilities in the Greater Boston area. As a member of the professional staff at Ferncroft Country Club, he focused on the growth of the teaching operation as Director of Instruction, designing and executing successful teaching programs for both juniors and adults. With a strong foundation in the fundamentals of golf and a commitment to personalized coaching, Steve brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every lesson with a tailored approach that fits each golfer's unique needs and goals.
Sean Keller
PGA Certified Instructor
Sean has 20 years of golf course experience at public, private, and resort courses. He has worked at Top 100 Courses such as Salem Country Club, Los Angeles Country Club, and PGA Village. From 2013-2020 Sean was a full-time instructor at Westchester Golf Club in Los Angeles. After moving back to Massachusetts in 2020, Sean became assistant professional at Ferncroft Country Club.

Absolutely! Our goal is to encourage new players to the game. Please advise when you book that you are a beginner and we can arrange to spend a little extra time with you. You can also book your first time at an X-Golf with a PGA teaching professional to go through the fundamentals of holding clubs to the basic swing.
Yes, we encourage players to bring their own clubs, though rental clubs are available.
The fee is for the simulator time, regardless of how many people are playing and it is not per person. Each individual can finish 18 holes in about one hour (or two people can play 9 holes each in about one hour). If you add more people it will take 1 hour per person added to play 18 holes.
No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically.
Yes, all locations have rentals. Check with your preferred location on pricing.
Yes. We welcome children of all ages.
Generally it takes 1 hour for an individual player to play 18 holes. If you have more than one player you may want to book an additional hour for each player in your group, but skill level can have an effect on pace of play.
Booking a tee time is highly recommended either online or calling your preferred location. Most X-Golf locations frequently sell out during busy times/weekends.
Gift cards are available and can be purchased at the preferred location or digitally online.
Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed (please make sure they are clean) but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf, as well.
No we supply the golf balls and the automatic tee system.
